SingleInstance

SingleInstance is a small tool that runs in the background and keeps you from accidentally opening the same application more than once.

Setting up the program is as easy as picking which applications you don't want to open more than once, then leaving the application running.

This lets you avoid something that has happened to everyone (and is pretty annoying): you click on an application but it doesn't open right away, so you click a few more times and then, after a few seconds, you suddenly have five or six identical windows open at once.

SingleInstance is a useful tool that can save you a bit of annoyance while using Windows.
